Trying to figure out a movie title

So recently i've been having memories of a movie I saw years ago, but i can't remember the title and I can only remember bits and pieces of the plot and its driving me crazy.

So, It's pretty much a horror film, i think from the 80s and its about some people who either get stuck in a video game or a video game that becomes sentient and starts killing people From what i remember it had really terrible effects and also seems to remember it ahving 1 sequel (but that could just be my memory)

I thank you all in advance and Im sure you'll be able to help.

(i know some of you love terrible movies)

pretty nasty responses from someone who is asking for help.
"Carson has combined his passion for helping children with his love for one of Cincinnati's favorite past times - cornhole - to create a unique and exciting event perfect for a corporate outing, entertaining clients or family fun."

none of the responses fit the criteria, Tron and The Wizard weren't horror movies and Stay alive was from last year. Sorry i've upset you doodle, but frankly, i can't be bothered with your overly fragile sensability.

Wow, talk about ironic, LilyLiverpool.

I believe the horror film in question was "Islamic Jihadists Go to Camp."

Actually, Liver, you said that the film was "pretty much" a horror film, which could mean different things to different people. While you can't be bothered with "overly fragile sensability" [sic], I can't be bothered with ingrates.

I sat through it. It was a horror. Good enough for me.

Given your inability to accurately communicate ("pretty much"?) you should just be glad that anybody tried to help you figure out that which your memory is too faulty to recall.

If you can't handle the fact that you're not getting the exact answer you want in exactly the way you'd like it presented, why not just report everybody in this thread to the moderators?

Calm down

NIGHTMARES synopsis:

"Four horror tales based on urban legends. The first story 'Terror in Topanga', has a smoking addict (Cristina Raines) going out to buy some cigarettes despite there being a killer in the neighborhood. The second story 'Bishop of Battle', has a teenager (Emilio Estevez) who becomes so good at a video game, that the game comes to life to collect him. The third story, 'The Benediction' (based on Stephen Spielberg's 'Duel') has a priest (Lance Hendrickson) whom has lost his faith, leaving his monastery and stalked on the road by a black pick-up truck from hell, literally. The fourth story 'Night of the Rat', (loosely based on 'Poltergeist') has a couple (Richard Masur and Veronica Cartwright), along with their young daughter, battling a giant rat living in their suburban home."
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali
