Tuck Everlasting Trading Cards Design

Tuck Everlasting is doing trading cards for some of the characters and the design is very dark, almost twilight-like. All of the other Tuck-related things I've seen have had bright greens, golds, and other bold colors so when these cards came out I was a little confused, it didn't seem to go with the rest of the show's brand. Is there a reason for this? Is there a dark aspect of the stage production that matches the trading cards?

I'm going to guess it's because the cast members designed them and either they didn't want to stick with the same corporate look and feel, or the show didn't want them to. There is nothing about these that goes with the show, unless you count when I went and clumps of old dust started falling from the rafters onto us in the mezz.

The Twilight implications are understandable, unfortunate, and also hilarious.
