Two-time Tony nominee Clive Revill has died at 94

Clive Revill appeared in seven Broadway shows, including IRMA LA DOUCE, Fagin in the original production of OLIVER!, Whiteside in SHERRY! (the musicalization of The Man Who Came To Dinner), and Edward Albee's short-lived adaptation of LOLITA. He also appeared as the Chairman in the national tour of DROOD.

STAR WARS fans know him best as the Emperor in The Empire Strikes Back. About 20 years ago, George Lucas dubbed him over by Ian McDiarmid, who played the role in the early 00s "prequel" trilogy. The original versions of SW are tough to find now.

Revill died March 11 at a care facility in Sherman Oaks, CA after a battle with dementia.
