why is Q opening in vegas and london before a first national tour?

London and Vegas are no doubt more important money-wise than a tour.

Um...there is no tour of Ave Q. It's Broadway and Vegas.

Do a search it's been discussed since the announcement right after the Tony's in 2004.

Part of the deal with Vegas was that AVENUE Q would play there and NYC exclusively in North America. There won't be a national tour -- not while the Vegas show is running, anyway.
