My apologies -- I know this is a site for Broadway; however, with the lack of good pickings on the Great White Way, I'm tempted to spend some time next month off-Broadway.
Has anyone see Mourning? Is it worth the 4.5 hour investment? Or does the play just have a cool title?
Is Uncle Vanya going to be better than, say, Hedda Gabler?
Thanks for any insights, thoughts, or comments!

I would go to Mourning Becomes Electra just for the cast. Also because it done so seldom. There are lots of Uncle Vanyas around. I want to see Lili Taylor and especially Joseph Cross, who is making his stage debut. I wish the recent British Mourning Becomes Electra with Helen Mirren and Eve Best had crossed over from the West End. What a treat that would have been.
