I'd have to say THE CIVIL WAR was always on the top of my underrated list. Others: BOMBAY DREAMS, INTO THE WOODS, LITTLE SHOP. I'd have to come back to this one... low on fuel.

Into the Woods is such a highly respected show, I can't imagine it would ever be considered underrated.
The Civil War? Yikes.

"Dance of the freaking amazing Vampires" sooooo true, I wish a recording of this show existed besides the German one.
Also BIG the musical is pretty awesome in my opinion. And THE SECRET GARDEN is a great musical u dont see much of.

"Dance of the freaking amazing Vampires" i couldn't agree more with both of you. it was truly an amazing show that i sorta think was ahead of its time.
about the last five years...could it really be considered underrated? i know it didn't stay on the off-bway stage for that long, but that's because it had a limited run. but i'm pretty sure it was praised by most critics.
