Well, he's already been on Broadway, but nobody knows who he is, so I'll say Scott Hunt. *points to avatar* Fabulous actor, haunting singing voice, sweet guy, and cute as a button. He's also a writer, and writes his own songs and music. He's SO AMAZINGLY TALENTED, but he gets no credit.
Since I'm bad (and that's how it goes with me), I'm gonna do some shameless advertising. All you New Yorkers can see him in Subway Train at the Fringe Festival. He will play the role of 'Hunt'.

As for up and coming unknowns, I'd have to say Caren Lyn Manuel, who is incredible and will probably start making more of a name for herself the first time she goes on in Brooklyn. Serge Kushnier's another.

Carly Ciarrocchi i hear is amazing. she directs, and acts, and sings. She did an amazing performance recently as the vamp in godspell, and just creates amazing performances.
