i saw urban cowboy and really enjoyed it. it was the final dress before previews so it probably changed a bit before opening but im sure i saw what it was for the most part. it was the same as mamma mia in my opinion. both arent very much plot wise. both are filled with fun songs and great dancing. both have/had hot young casts. its sad that it didnt get a longer life. but then again, we have enough fluff on broadway right now as it is.

you could def tell the jrb songs when they popped up. i still cant get over seeing him in his cowboy outfit.

my english teacher, Jerry Silverstein, actually wrote a song for that show, he talked about the tony nom forever, it wasnt even funny lol
