Is the character of Little Sally actually supposed to be old? I thought that they were making fun of the convention of having little kids banter with adults, and decided to use an adult so that it was just easier to manage. I think it would definitely work better on film having a younger person play Sally, especially since a bunch of the stuff she says is very adult.

PiraguaGuy - on stage, an older actress playing Little Sally works. IMO, on film, it'd have to be a young girl and the humor changes. At least that's what I would do if I were helming a film adaptation.
