This is a random question, but I just noticed that the OBC album for Urinetown says that it was released in 1990. Can this be true? This show was done in 2001, right?

Sounds like a misprint, since the musical didn't exist in 1990.

It's listed as 1990 on Spotify, but the copyright is dated 2001. It must be a metadata error in their database, which one comes across occasionally on digital services.

Words don't deserve that kind of malarkey. They're innocent, neutral, precise, standing for this, describing that, meaning the other, so if you look after them you can build bridges across incomprehension and chaos. But when they get their corners knocked off, they're no good anymore…I don't think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.
