Using CBS All Access to Watch the Tony's - setting location?

I'm really pleased find out that I can use CBS All Access to watch the Tony's next week. I'm one of those awful "millenials" without cable and am happy there is a legal option for watching it live

I'm also on the West Coast, and unfortunately the feed is delayed for this market. Does anyone know if I can bypass this with CBS All Access by registering with an east coast address/credit card? (Could likely get family back east to help out). Or does it detect where you are by your IP address?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Yup. Even if your info and credit card billing address is on the east coast, the IP address recognizes where you''re at. Do some research today regarding VPN services that allow you to change your IP address which will allow you to adjust it so you can watch the broadcast 'live'. Many people do this which is quite noticeable when you're watching a live talk show from the east coast (like Bravo's WATCH WHAT HAPPENS LIVE!) taking phone calls from west coast audiences when they don't even get to see the show for 3 more hours.
