Who has heard her version from her cabaret show
"Blood & Feathers?"
It is quite sensational. She turns it into a nice jazzy number. At times her accent gets twisted with the lyrics, but it's okay. She does things vocally with the song that has definitely never been done before with Ladies Who Lunch. She REALLY sings this song.
Great version. I recommend any Ute fans or fans of the show to download it on iTunes or something.
Anyone else love her version?

Love her version of Ladies Who Lunch and everything else on her Blood & Feathers album. Anyone who can take on Sondheim, Piaf, Dietrich, Kander & Ebb, Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell, Tom Waits and Brecht & Weill, and make them all sound fresh, deserves to be heard, and heard again. Love the album and love her!
I was only 10 when I saw her as Sally Bowles. I think she is the one that made me fall in love with musical theater.

I had never heard of her until last May when I was in Buenos Aires and stumbled on the theater where she was performing to packed houses. Was lucky to get tickets. Didn't know what to expect and was just wowed. What an incredible live performer. I've been a huge fan ever since.

You're right, Thesbijean, about her vitality. Her versatility (with languages, styles, moods), her daring and her intelligence are also astounding, as well.
