Does anyone know who the Seymour is?

The description says it's Lee Wilkof.
Yup! That's Lee.
He was the ORIGINAL Seymour in the orginal off-broadway production of LSOH.

Beautiful. I love this song. I think that and Big Green Mother really should be included in a new licensed version.

^ I don't think that would work. This song implies that Audrey lives when in fact she does not.
Love this song on the revival CR, glad that there is a cast sung version.
It's a lovely song but it, and Mean Green Mother, have no place in the stage version. They'll bog down the very lean and tight second act and add nothing to the show.

Would anyone happen to have this video saved by chance? Working on a video all about LITTLE SHOP and was hoping to include a clip of this performance, but it’s not available on YouTube anymore. Thanks!
Howard wrote an iron clad, tight as hell, roller coaster of a book for this show and he cut the song himself. Never should be added back. But it's a really good song.
EDIT: Sorry, hadn't realized this was an ancient thread! Don't have the video.
Mean Green Mother fits decently in the show but only specialized puppets can perform it in real time, because the movement and lyrical flow is too rapid. A recent UK production used it but they had a specially designed puppet for ease of mobility.
