One said she was eminently likable, which is certainly a compliment, but no, I don't really think she and her robotic singing walked away with the reviews.

I don't think Neil comes off as stupid but I wonder why he's even deigning Perez with a response.
Anyway I'm trying really hard not to judge this because she could be great for all we know...and at the very least, she may be the first Mimi to actually look 19 years old.

Really, I think everyone who's so disgusted by this just needs to take a chill pill. This is the Hollywood Bowl we're talking about, the venue that brought us Jessica Biel in Guys and Dolls. It's a three-day production. Basically this is community theatre for Hollywood stars.
Breathe. Calm down. Worst-case scenario, she sucks for three days and then goes back to shooting Sketchers ads and banging Zac Efron in Hawaii. She could surprise us all, who knows?

Hmmmm what a dilemma. The funniest part is that 99.99% of you won't ever even see the show.

But maybe she'll surprise us! I thinks she looks the part though. I'm going so I'm really looking forward to seeing how she turns out.
