Vanity Fair photo shoot

Did anyone see the two page picture of the "Hollywood" actors in broadway shows? I was personally thrilled that Sutton Foster was in the mix. Check it out!

How is Sutton a Hollywood actress? Did I miss something...I haven't gotten the magazine.

re: Vanity Fair photo shoot

I think Vanity Fair missed something, actually. I just put her name into IMdB and it came back with nothing.
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

Maybe it's people they think should be in movies?
Sara Ramirez and Lily Rabe barely have enough screen time to qualify as "Hollywood" No Billy Crudup in the photo either.

Would someone please scan it? I'm sure everyone on this board would love you for it! Including me!

re: Vanity Fair photo shoot

On the Vanity Fair website, it lists this as an article...I'm thinking its what we're talking about --->

176 | ALPHA BROADWAY Lights, curtain, action! Norman Jean Roy and Michael Hogan spotlight the Hollywood stars who are gunning for Tonys this season on the Great White Way.

But why Sutton?

re: Vanity Fair photo shoot

Well if it says they are "gunning for Tonys this season..." maybe Sutton is on there as "competition"?

re: Vanity Fair photo shoot

Is this the issue with Desperate Housewives on the cover? Or is it someone else?

re: Vanity Fair photo shoot

I think it's the new one with Angelina Jolie on the cover. I remember my mom saw something about it on Entertainment Tonight or one of those shows.

re: Vanity Fair photo shoot

It's the June issue with Angelina Jolie on the cover.

I scanned it, but it's 2 pages, hopefully this works.

Still confused why Sutton and Sara are there, but whatever. They rock.

re: Vanity Fair photo shoot

Thanks so much for scanning it! Sutton and Sara look lovely!

I'm still hoping that they will someday do a Broadway Issue, with some of the Broadway greats on the cover and inside. Like they do with their Hollywood Issue. That would be awsome.

re: Vanity Fair photo shoot

it's a beautiful picture, and thanks for getting it to us... but i just don't understand ms. foster and ms. ramirez's presence in the picture.

re: Vanity Fair photo shoot

I don't know if Sara has any movie plans in the future. Sutton I know has said that she's happy doing only Broadway and has no desire to go into film, so yea, dunno.

re: Vanity Fair photo shoot

[I know this could never possibly happen, but how funny would it be if NONE of those people got nominated. Like I said, it'll never happen...but wouldn't that be an incredibly pretentious photo shoot? Sorry, it's been a long day.]

re: Vanity Fair photo shoot

Heehee. I guess thats why they had to add Sutton and Sara. To make sure that they at least got two nominations. re: Vanity Fair photo shoot

re: Vanity Fair photo shoot

i like the broadway photo from last year a lot better. there were a ton more people and you could see their faces. i'll have to check, but i think it was from the issue with david beckham on the cover. good stuff. no sutton foster, but i definitely remember idina menzel, cheno, audra mcdonald, and who could forget DIDDY!!
