I would go anywhere to see him read the phone book - oh, no, wait - I did see Stoppard's Acadia already...
In the 1990's, I took my daughter, then 10 years old, backstage to meet Mr. Garber, who was appearing as Applegate in Damn Yankees. He was gracious to me and absolutely heart-wrenchingly charming to my daughter! Definitely going to Boston for this one.
