Anyone have any info on why she had to use the hand-held during her performance during the Tony Awards? It was interesting that she stopped using it as soon as she opened her tour book.

Bet there was a microphone hidden in the book.

My 1st thought was that she must have been having problems with her body mic.

interesting, will have to rewatch, because O'hara sure had a mic on, so I'm going to have to re-watch......BTW, that was a beautiful number!!!!!!

There were problems with the mic. During the acceptance speech right before the Piazza performance, in Radio City, you could hear and see crew running around trying to figure out what to do and what was wrong.

I thought she was doing some sort of CNN news report, "This is Margaret Johnson reporting live from the 59th Annual Tony Awards..." I thought the microphone added an extra something to her performance.

there were sound problems. the microphone was used to resolve those problems. it was only a microphone. get over it people.

If that's your clever little way to tell me to change my signature then umm..no. Block me. Don't read my responses. Take some Tylenol. But no one tells me what to do. Build a bridge, get over it and have a friggin nice day!
