Most of you have probably already seen this, but I found it on YouTube last night. It's nice to hear all these people she worked with sharing nice memories of her. It seems like an odd thing to put on YouTube, but I thought it was interesting and sweet anyway. Kurt Peterson's speech especially and the old recordings of her singing almost break my heart.
Thank you, thank you, thank you beilis32. I hadn't seen this.
I saw A Little Night Music 12 times with Ms. Mallory all 12 times, as she was in the entire Broadway run. As a 14 year old, she and the show became part of my growing up. So I was so glad to be able to see her friends and family speak so lovingly about her.
My sister too died of pancreatic cancer almost 4 years ago. So I felt a connection to this memorial.
My prayers go out to her husband, Mark Lambert-the original Henrik in A Little Night Music and her daughter, Ramona.
