1. These are NOT nominations. They ARE the honorees.

Given the unusual circumstances of this truncated season, the general Outer Critics membership will not be voting on them, so they won't be picking a single winner in each category.

2. The cutoff date for these Outer Critics honorees was March 6, 2020, so they cover over 10 months, not just ''half the season.''

3. Only new elements were considered for the following Broadway productions, which were eligible in previous seasons: ''Girl From the North Country,'' ''Sea Wall/A Life'' and ''Slave Play.''
