I decided far too late that I'd really like to see "Violet" at City Center. I've bought tickets on Craigslist before, but none seem to be available (didn't get a response from the one listed), so I was thinking about showing up early to see if I can get one on the street. I'm just concerned about the tickets being legit, though less so for this show than, say "Book of Mormon," and about unwittingly violating some kind of re-sale policy/law. Are there folks who do this regularly enough to offer advice? Thanks!

I would check the website to see if any tickets become available, better yet call the box office and ask about availability or the possibility of tickets becoming available. Sometimes people donate tickets back or they release seats they held back for press or patrons. Good luck
Given the demand, I'm sure they're going to have a cancellation line. As advised above, I'd call the Box Office to get the specifics of what the procedure for that process will be.
