I'm still so sad that Virgin will be closing. Yes, they can be expensive but they always have sales on DVDs (which is what I go there for) and have a lot of newer titles for $10, you can't beat that. Plus they have a great selection of Criterion and International films which you can't find anywhere except online, or at some place like Kim's which is even more overpriced.
Not to mention their great T-shirt collections. It sucks that soon you can't buy any type of records or DVDs in Manhattan that aren't overpriced or at Best Buy, I mean for as many repeat stores that are around here, Manhattan really is lacking in the record/dvd store department.
