I managed to purchase a single ticket for South Pacific for tomorrow night. I'm sitting in ROW A of the Loge and wanted to know if this Loge overhung the orchestra, or is it perched behind the orchestra?

Behind the Orchestra.

I concur. I was row A of the loge, and it was a great great seat.

concur. We sat in the last row of the loge, pretty ctr. and it was excellent. The overhang is far back, but it doesn't matter. It's a huge and expansive set design.

I know I'm in the minority on this, but the Loge is horrible, in my opinion.

It is MILES away from the stage. So ridiculously far up that the actors look like ants.

I've sat there twice, both times for free.

I would never spend $76.00 to sit that far away from the stage.

Every seat in the Orchestra, however, provides an intimate view of the stage, set design, and the actors' facial expressions.

Really? I sat in Row E of the Loge and found it to be a great seat. Granted it would have nice to be closer, but I still saw everything perfectly.

Your seat should be fine. Enjoy the show!

I sat in Row A in July and it was a great seat. I loved the show and am going again in November. Enjoy!

Seats in Row A of the loge (especially in the 200s, 300s or 400s) are the best in the house, in my opinion...even better than any orchestra seat.

I was in the Loge A 303 when I first saw PIAZZA and the seat was perfect.
