Question: I want to see Betty Buckley in "Dolly" when it comes to Boston. I noticed on vividseat.com that they have tickets for as low as $10. Has anyone used this ticketing service before? Is it reliable and safe? Their price point seems too good to be true.
Yep they are legit (they tack on 30%) but have mediocre at best customer service. Stubhub is definitely better - and I noticed they also have at least one day for $10 tickets as well.
I've used them 3 or 4 times for sports tickets. They're certainly reputable though I find their fees a little high. But Stubhub's fees are just as high so pick your poison. One tip with Vivid. Create an account and let them send you stuff. Sometimes if you look at an event, place something in your cart and then don't buy it, they might shoot you a 10% off coupon. Every little bit helps.
I concur. If you see tickets on Vivid you are thinking about buying, put them in your cart and go through the checkout process but dont submit the order. Just let it expire. Usually within a day or so they'll entice you to complete the transaction by emailing you 10% off.
