Voice of Anderson Cooper to Narrate HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING

I don't really like Cooper's voice for it. It's not instantly recognizable or very authorative. I'm a bit worried for this show. This was one of the very first musicals I ever saw as a kid, so it holds a special place in my heart. I'm really hoping it's good.
I may be ridiculed for saying this, but I was hoping for Bill O'Riley for the voice over. I hate the man as much as the next on here (maybe not AS much), but his voice and attitude would have been perfect for the narrator. Stephen Colbert would have been great, too.

Posted: 1/21/11 at 1:38amI think a voice like Bill O'Reilly's or Stephen Colbert's would have distracted from the show. They're very opinionated people and the audience would react to them and be taken out of the show.

Posted: 1/21/11 at 1:41amI don't really see the point. Yes, they're opinionated, but I'm sure they wouldn't have strayed from the script. Anderson Cooper is also opinionated and so was Walter Cronkite.

Who cares!?!?!?!
So he's no Cronkite. No one is. That's why HE'S Walter Cronkite
when republicans watch the show, they are not going to be turned off or "distracted" by 15 seconds of hearing Anderson Cooper's voice (who they probably won't even think twice about because tourists hardly look to see who the "non stars" in the cast. The Original show didn't even have a celebrity voice as the narrator. It was just a regular old voice, and I don't see why this one needs one. They could have gotten any professional voice over artist, or even Ted Williams, the homeless man with the "Golden" voice.
This casting decision is not going to make or break one of the only Pulitzer winning shows in the history of Musical theatre. Take a breather.

Ted Williams is far too busy getting drunk and then sober.
And trying to ditch his girlfriend.
Let's not force him on Broadway.
