I just wanted to thank all the contributors to this thread. It's manna for those of us who just can't get to the city as often as we'd like! I'm particularly grateful for the pics that show the theatres. Those beautiful old buildings are artworks in themselves.

I should have taken a picture of the huge new Chicago ad across from the Mariott Marquis (There's a girl with her legs flat across in a spread eagle-like position.

I love that picture of Jenna with her mouth wide open!

Same colors, different effect. Obviously a different show, but it doesn't have the same effect as Drowsy's fun and old-fashioned marquee. But good things can't last forever...

But as for the artwork itself...I don't think the marquee or posters convey that Cry-Baby is a comedy, which it is! It looks more serious than humorous.

are they going to fix the marquee at the Music Box? It didn't look all de-constructed this summer for Deuce... did they do it for Farnsworth and are going to fix it for August? Or... has it just fallen into disrepair?

hey guys I got some more of the Cry Baby marquee when I was out there yesterday.









I love the big legs on the windows. Man am I excited for this show to open! Who wants to go to see it in previews with me? lol I am in need of seeing it and nobody will see it with me!
