Amen, Sheekala - Nathan Lane is a truly outstanding performer who has that very special charisma and magnetism. I just adore him. When I see him perform, I feel truly privileged.

robbiej~ AND it's VERY hard being a rep. for "proven" talent that too often does not fit the "mold" of what some of the creative teams "think" is going to sell. They(TPTB) can be like horses wtih blinders ploughing forward without stopping to find out if there is an audience for something other that great abs & butts, or an overnight flash or TV/film stars that can't pull off stage performing.

Those who represent the latest hotties will hit the jackpot at first, but as was mentioned, the hotties cool off and are replaced by new hotties . IMHO, casting directors are too focused on this trend. Hate to say it, but I feel John Stamos and Hugh Jackman may be in for an unpleasant surprise around the corner. Just speculation based on what I've heard.


This business is like a series of great waves. If you catch a few good ones they can boost your career. But eventually the tide retreats and there's no guarantee what the next batch of waves will bring in.
Tough business these days!
