Please, my fellow Rent WORSHIPers.. lol. I have been reviewing and desperately researching everything and every corner of the cyberspace that is RENT. After viewing every trailer for the REnt movie..

i keep seeing Roger kissing this girl?? He also stares at her in the scence where hes playing onstage...( short haired roger) Shes white..DEF> Not mimi... short shaggy hair, almost reddish blonde..and shes wearing some little white trashy dress.
WHO IS SHE?? please someone put me out of my misery. THe only thing i can possible think is that shes APRIL? but i cant find out until NOVEMBER 23rd.. WHO THE **** IS SHE??!

Here's the problem. How does April (if that's what she looks like) remind people of Mimi? They should have casted her to look a little more similar to Rosario, don't you think?

Yeah, that's not really a problem...

He says she looks FAMILIAR because he's seen her at the club, not because she ACTUALLY looks like April.

Right. But she says she always reminds people of others. That doesn't mean Roger thinks she looks familiar because he looks like April. Keep going in the lyrics. She looks familiar because he's seen her before.

I *personally* (it really is different for everyone) never imagined April to really look like Mimi. In fact, for some reason, I always envisioned her as a redhead myself.

Roger is having a hard time getting over April. He's still thinking about her. She was the last woman he loved- the last woman he ever flirted with. Now, there's this girl in his apartment flirting with him... he's probably reminded of April just a little bit by some seemingly insignificant things that she does. He picks out her smile as being like April's. They might not actually even BE similar, but in his mind he sees it, because he's kind of obsessed with it.

When you're obsessed enough with something, you see it everywhere (I think hardcore RENTheads can attest to this... I know I can associate ANYTHING with RENT).

She's not what I expected, but it works, I think. She's in the movie for all of three minutes, anyway. And considering what you see of Roger's past, I daresay she looks the part.

Mimi's "I always remind people of" is her being sarcastic because it's the oldest pickup line in the book and in this song, it's all innuendo and flirtation.
