Welcome, WICKEDFAN1.

In the future, try not to start threads about Wicked unless they are thought provoking. This thread has probably been started about a million times before. There is a nifty little "search" function that you can use to read through past threads and make sure that the one you're starting hasn't already been done to death.

You're not a loser. You're just new. Don't worry about it. You can post any new threads you want about Wicked. If people don't want to read it or respond, they don't have to. And if they want to start threads about anything other than Wicked, then it's their responsibility to do so. Just ignore them.

Sometimes I use the search function, but it pulls up about 300 posts and would take days to find the answer to my question, so I post a new thread anyway. People can whine and gripe about it, but they chose to read it anyway, so it's nobody's fault but their own.

Be strong and have fun and don't take ANYONE here too seriously.

PS - Though I'm not a fan of the entire score (and I won't be seeing the show until next month), my favorite song from Wicked is Defying Gravity, but I also like What is This Feeling.

Yes, I like Wicked...I saw it 4 times.

While I don't listen to the score very often because I'm not a really big fan of the music or the show but if I had to pick a favorite song it would "Thank Goodness" and "No Good Deed"

And hang on, when did you win the discus?

Oh yeah, I forgot about No Good Deed. That's probably my favorite. Idina Menzel's great.

My favorite song (today) is THE WIZARD AND I. I like hearing Elphuba in an optimistic mode. She's so full of hope and I want her to be happy. She's a dreamer in this song.

You know what my issue is with Defying Gravity, I mean the song is okay but I feel like they chop it up too much in the show by the bits of dialogue.

I like the show version better. It really makes the final moment exciting. It keeps the moment going longer, it's never long enough, though.

"No Good Deed" is an awesome song. Just be careful not to lock eyes with Idina or you will turn to stone.
