Has anyone ever seen WICKED at the Gershwin sitting in the double letter orchestra far side seats such as row bb, cc, ee, dd, etc... or in row a, b, and c on the far sides referred to as "partial view"? If so, how bad is the partial view.I have family coming in on the 19th and my niece wants to see it badly, and these are the only tickets I can seem to locate. Also has anyone ever purchased tickets from sellers on EBAY? Any I should avoid or can trust? I am a bit leary in buying that way but I am considering. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
I basically sit in BB5 everytime I go. You can't see some of the show either because its blocked too far upstage or the ensemble is in the way but other than that they are great seats.
The partial view tickets are the best value on Broadway. You don't miss anything essential, especially if you've seen the show before. The further back you are, the less obstructed your view.
It's a lot of fun to sit next to people who've paid more than double what you paid, and whose view is no better than yours.
Instead of ebay....try Stub Hub. They're extremely reliable and legit.
Partal View is not that bad I had it for Wicked and all i could not see was the far side and for SA and i could not see the last on stage row on stage right so they are good seats. but for wicked i was in BALC and on far side so it was good but i don't know about in the front rows. can you see elphaba defy gravity in the first few rows?
I saw Wicked from row B on the very last seat on house right. I missed a few entrances and things on stage left, but nothing important. Great seats that I would highly recommend.
Call the understudy / I can't go on tonight / I'm drinking with my buddy / I'm getting good and tight / Before they raise the curtain I'll be higher than a kite / So call the understudy
I can't go on tonight
With the partial view Wicked seats - is there an aisle to walk to the seats on the side of the partial views, or do you have to walk to your seat from the seats starting No. 1 or 2 (depending on which side you're on?) Thanks!
There's an aisle on both sides. I sit in BB 5 all the time when I go. You miss some stuff in the back of the stage and one scene that's done above your head but the best part is seeing facial expressions. I sat is BB 6 also but I didn't like that as much. I got spit on WAYYYYYYYYYYYY too much and the sound wasn't as good. skibumb5290, You can seen Elphaba fine when she defies gravity. If you sit on the left side G(a)linda is there during the flying part and it looks like Elphaba is reaching out to you instead of G(a)linda.
