Dear God I hope Taylor Dayne never plays Elphaba.

Taylor Dayne is actually a great singer...I think she would do a kick ass rendition of Defying Gravity. I'm not sure how her acting is...

And Deborah Gibson as Glinda? Love her as a performer, but could she even hit the notes? She'd make a better Nessa Rose.

I saw Taylor Dayne as Animeris (sp?) and I thought she was horrible. Her voice wasn't good at all, but her acting was passable.

Are you kidding? Wanye Brady as the Wizard? And how would he be related to Elphaba? A brother?

Debbie Gibson - I'm sure she'd love to do it but I doubt she'd be cast.

Wayne - I know, he's young, but I like him and wanted him to be included somehow. I suppose he could do Fieyero.

Does anyone know officially who all has auditioned for this show? I know they don't publisize those things. I'd love to see a list or be a fly on the wall in the casting office...

Kelly Clarkson would be an AMAZING Elphaba - but she's clearly got other things going on.

Taylor- I LOVED her as Amneris, but she probably won't play elphaba...

see now i thought she was very good in Aida...but i just loved the whole show experience in general.
