WICKED Lottery

I have a question about the Wicked lottery--when a name is drawn, is that for TWO tickets, or just one? I am planning to try it Friday night, but am taking a friend. So would both our names need to be drawn in order for both of us to see the show?

When your name is drawn, I think you specify how many tickets you want. Have your friend put in his/her name also because it increases your chances of winning.

From Talkin' Broadways Rush policies page:

Each day, 2½ hours prior to show time (11:30 AM for 2 PM matinees; 12:30 PM for 3 PM matinees; 4:30 PM for 7 PM performances; 5:30 PM for 8 PM performances), people who present themselves at the Gershwin Theatre box office will have their names placed in a hat. 30 minutes later, names will be drawn for 28 front row seats at $25 each. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person, cash only.

Is the drawing 2 1/2 hours before or only two hours? If you show up at 5:50 for the 8pm show can you still get your name in? What is the extra 30 minutes for?

There is a half hour window to enter your name, so if you get there at 5:50 you can still enter. Make sure you have ID and cash.

I did see the little message posted on the Wicked webpage...I just wanted to verify that I could get two tickets if my name is selected.
