Walking by the same person you've already walked by in the dairy, produce, and frozen-food sections.

Yeah, I was disappointed with that performance.
You could see the buckle on her cloak, it wasn't folded under.
You could see her dress through the fabric, making it appear like her gown didn't expand. Kristin didn't sing "I hope you're happyyyyyyy" (was expecting it, though I don't think that was in the show).
Still a nice performance, though.

I have to agree

Posted: 6/6/04 at 9:58pmDefinitely not up to par with what goes on at the Gershwin, but exhilarating none the less. The goosbumps still came, and the crowd loved it. Congrats the cast---they did a fabulous job, and I'm crossing my fingers for Idina tonight.

Posted: 6/6/04 at 11:24pmI love Idina. I think Defying Gravity is one of two good songs in Wicked. But the gasping. I couldn't take the gasping. It was one notch too Brenda Vaccaro for me.

Posted: 6/6/04 at 11:27pmShe gasped in her acceptance speech, as well as the performance, and every night at the Gershwin. It's her thing, I guess. It distracts me. I really don't like it. But I'm glad she won. Seriously, I was really hoping she would win the award.

Posted: 6/6/04 at 11:28pmIdina was most definitely holding back a bit. The end of that song nearly made my ear drums pop, but that audience loved it anyway.
