WICKED REVIEW- Tuesday, June 22nd (EDEN, RANDY)

I knew going in that Idina would be out and was interested in seeing Eden because I heard her on the Maury Yeston Songbook and loved her voice.. plus, this was my third time and i had seen Idina twice.. with that said:

She was brilliant. Eden was Elphaba. She plays Elphaba a bit more timid than Idina. Her notes come out so freely and its almost like she doesnt have to push to get them out. I dont want to say which I prefered because they were both amazing. Her No Good Deed stole the show.

Randy Harrison was Boq and his first performance. I have never seen Queer as Folk, but lets just say I hope hes better on that than in Wicked. His acting was all wrong and his voice serviceable.

Sean Mccourt was on as the Wizard and he was great, but the part just isnt very good.

Kristin was amazing as always as Glinda, even if she does over do it a little.

I love this show so much and I urge you all to stand in the cancellation lines, because Eden will totally blow you away!

I've seen the show a few times and was there last night. I thought Randy Harrison was fantastic. It's the first time I actually cared about Boq as a character at all.

I saw Randy harrison and Eden at the Wednesday matinee (6/23). I thought Eden was fabulous. We were disappointed that we wouldn't see Idina, but after eden started to sing, I felt lucky!

I'm a huge QAF fan. Met Randy outside the stage door and he was charming. A little shy and he graciously posed for a photo. He's incredibly beautiful in person. As Boq, I thought he was excellent. His voice shows a range of emotion and he has great presence. I thought he went well with Michele/Nessa. I was very impressed with his performance.
