WICKED sheet music longer than expected

I was SO mad! I went to a music store and asked them if they had the WICKED sheet music. He said "It's not coming out 'til the END of May". Not THAT long away, but AH! Did this happen to anyone else?

My friend who pre-ordered it from Amazon had the same thing happen. They told her on Monday it wouldn't be out till July.

You've got to be kidding me. ARGH! But here is another question. There are people in my acting class who said that their vocal coach has sheet music to some songs from WICKED. I'd like to know how this is possible.

Yes the score is floating around. Friends have told me they have copies of most of the songs and another has the score, which I'm waiting to see, but apparently some copies were made from people in the show.

The Wicked site allows you to pre-order the sheet music. It says it should be here in mid-july....

i already pre-ordered, but when i did the guy said may. guess this means i won't get it until im in camp. this sux.
