Loved the tony performance. Who said Karen Oliva could't dance. My family wants to see it. But $120 x 5 = way to much money.
Are the balcony seats ok? Like we're thinking front row of balcony or should we wait for a discount?

There won't be a discount. The balcony is very high up. But it's not that bad.
They have day of partial view seats. and a lotto.

Day of partial view seating? how does that work?
I would do the lotto but there is not guarantee that all 5 of us or any of us will get seats

I knew someone who recently saw this and mentioned getting partial view seats somewhere in the mezz on the day of the show. I don't know for how much, but I can ask. But if someone beats me to it, go for it.

There was a similar thread recently:
https://forum.broadwayworld.com/readmessage.cfm?boardid=1&boardname=bway&thread=998005
according to that,
"Partial view pricing
$60.00 - Orchestra
$46.50- Mezz
$24.00- Balcony"
And please ignore the last post there, because this show is incredible.
So is the partial view only day of? Or is it something you can by in advance, but only at the box office?
I just inquired and it is day of and when my friend went, she went around 9:45 and there were 6 people ahead of her. She got mezz seats for $61.50 each, so I don't know about orchestra seats. I don't know how much has changed since the Tonys.
What? They raised the mezz partial view to $61.50?
That was the price of the orchestra partial view.
I hope balcony is still $24.00.
My friend said this:
"hey either have ones in the front mezz on the extreme sides (where we sat) for $61.50 or in the balcony for $41.50."
I have not been to the box office myself, so I cannot confirm or deny it.
I just don't believe they would charge $41.50 for partial in the balcony, when a regular price balcony seat is $46.50.
