https://www.broadwayworld.com/article/Donna_Munday_Appointed_Interim_Chief_Executive_Of_Sheffield_20090311 There is an article about the new chief executive of a small group of theatres in the city of Sheffield in the north of England on the front page of BroadwayWorld. Why?!
The group may have regularly and successfully transferred productions to the West End of London but I don't think they've ever transferred anything to Broadway. And I've never seen similar equally successful theatre groups in other northern English cities get a mention here.
The accompanying photograph of one of the Sheffield theatres is hideous, 30 years out of date and prior to a major refurbishment in the 1990s.
And the fact that I know something about this story
through personal and not professional contacts has unnerved me!
Is Big Brother watching me?
Should I be afraid?
Or have the mods got Donna Munday confused with Donna Murphy?
EDIT: it's now been moved to the top of the West End page.
