How many tickets would you need and what day of the week do you want to attend?

Went today around noon for the matinee. No rush left, I checked Ticketmaster immediately after and I would say 60% of the house was empty...

How many hours are you willing to wait?

Then get there as early as you can so as not to worry.

Any actual recommendation on what time I should get to the theater for rush?

I must have gotten lucky last weekend. My girlfriend and I joined the line last Sunday (October 15) probably around 9:15/30, and got four rush tickets (even seated together) for the matinee. Can't remember where exactly we were in line at that time though.

Does anyone know if this show has been doing SRO at all recently?
Thanks!

I have some friends visiting from out of town who wanted to try and rush this coming Saturday. I just realized that Jason Mraz is joining this weekend so now I'm freaking out they won't have rush available. Has anyone heard anything, or have any opinions on what I should do?

If you NEED Saturday tickets then buy them from Ticketmaster or the box office asap.
If you merely want rush tickets then ask the box office personnel on Friday if any will be allocated on Saturday.

I'm looking to rush this for a Sunday Matinee, how would early should I arrive?
Posted: 11/4/17 at 10:22pm
I rushed this past Wednesday for the matinee. I showed up at 8:45am and was the 3rd person in line. First person showed up around 7:30am.
Someone came out and told us they had 30 rush tickets available that day. By 10am there were ~15 people in line so I'd assume most of the rush tickets were gone as soon as the box office opened.
I'd get there around 8:45/9am just to be on the safe side! Keep in mind this was also before Jason Mraz though...not sure if it will change with him in it now

First, arrive early Saturday evening and ask the box office personnel if they will even have any rush on Sunday.
Second, IF the box office said yes, arrive on Sunday early enough to not have too many people in front of you.

I don't just appear in the city on command, I actually have to plan. I can't check the night before, would they be able to respond if I called?

Called? You have the unlisted number of their box office?

I'm exhausted, I didn't remember it's impossible to call. I'll probably end up asking at the box office if I end up in the city between now and then

Between now and then is not the same as the evening before.
