They actually arent that bad.... they need to become a little less legit and stop enuniciating so well. This is a rock musical not Sunday In The Park with George. I take points off from the girl just for not knowing how to turn off the damn timer on her recording.
This almost as hysterical as what one renthead wrote about casting for a RENT movie..
in this case, the finalists are not guarabteed a job in the show and the casting director, show director and producers ultimately have control.
I read what a renthead wrote about movie casting and almost died laughing --
option 1.) The original cast are "gods" and deserve to do teh film (a 50" Daphne Rubin Vega trying to pass a 19 year old who looks 16 anyone??)
option 2.) RENTHEADS ONLY are allowed to vote one the entire film cast and they get to decide who appears in teh film and in what role froma roster of former RENT cast members from Broadway, tour, and worldwide stage productions.... no Hollywood names, no Hollywood producers, directors, and stidoe execs deciding.. JUST RENTHEADS.
