Warm-up / rehearsal spaces

Hi Everyone,
Maybe someone will remember this.... I remember reading about a couple of places around town where a person could pay a reasonable amount for a small room for a short period of time, in order to warm-up your voice before an audition. (I think I read about this on here but have had no luck finding the old thread.)
The places mentioned were close enough to some of the major audition spots that people are able to duck in and out pretty quickly. I think they were said to be near Ripley-Greer, Chelsea Studios, and/or the Equity Building.
Anyone have any idea about this? Even if you know of somewhere that isn't particularly close to an audition hot-spot, I would still be interested in hearing about anywhere in the city where I might be able to rent a small room for no longer than an hour to rehearse -- preferably with a piano. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Shettler Studios, 939 Eighth Avenue between 55-56 Streets
Don't know what the going rate is, though. Have used a small room with a piano for coaching but I was paying the teacher, so don't know how much the room fee was.

Champion Studios on 39th street. You'd pay between $10 to $15 an hour.
(Equity building would only be about 7 blocks away)

Roberto's Woodwind Studios/Michiko Recording Studios. Great space, very reasonable rates. It's on 46th above Rosie O'Grady's (I don't know the address off the top of my head). Literally next door to Actor's Equity. Here's the website.

Posted: 8/17/07 at 11:11amMost of the small Penthouse floor rooms at Shettler Studios are $17-$22 per hour, have pianos, and the AC works. They have a web site with the details, the staff is friendly, and it's close enough at 54th and Broadway. Good luck!
