Have a little fun with this one. Take two shows and weave them together.

I'll start with one a friend and I came up with when Susan Egan was cast in Millie, combining Cabaret and TMM

Sally Bowles, on a bender falls asleep dreaming what it would be like to come to NYC and be a legitimate actress. She "wakes" up in her dream to find she's Millie Dillmount. Cliff is Jimmy. Sally (Millie) takes up residence at Mrs. Meers (Fraulein Schneider) along with the other girls (kit kat girls).

Working for Trevor Graydon (Max) she is torn between her boss and Jimmy. Instead of having green painted nails, she's looking for a green glass love.

etc, etc, etc.. Millie is just about 180 degrees from Cabaret, but one can easily see how Sally would idealize being in NYC in such a way..

... your turn

This sounds a lot like what we did at Camp Broadway. We had to take two shows and combine them to make a short skit/song. My group did Chicago and You're a Good Man Charlie Brown and performed "The Detention Tango." It was all the Peanuts gang complaining about how they got in detention.

Not the best idea, but Wicked and Hairspray

Two girls vie for Ms. Hairspray contest. One is beautiful, popular and blonde. The other is green. The green one befriends the animals who aren't allowed to dance except once a week on animal day. They help her win the contest which is crowned by the Corny Wizard.

Tracy Turnblad is being reared by Edna, who is working tirelessly as a single parent. Tracy longs to be a part of the domestic crowd, and convinces Edna to take her to a Greek island and be the subject of a reality TV show called "Take A Chance On Me". The show is aimed at helping Tracy discover which of three potential men is her real father. After a bender and a short jail stint, we discover during the strip search that Tracy's mother is her father.

Funnily enough, I can actually picture Jon Waters writing this...

I would post one mixing Nunsense and Best Little Whorehouse in Texas but I'm afraid of being struck down by lightning. If someone else wants to do it though I think it'd be hilarious.

Why not two of the disney ones, Lion King and Aida.

Simba falls in love with a lesser animal(i dunno maybe a female Timone!)But he cant marry her because he is going to be king and needs to marry one of his own kind, and is engaged to a female lion already.(Nala)And then his uncle, Scar, tells him that it is forbidden, but it runs in the family lol (like uncle, like son?). Then Nala finds out and all hell breaks loose!

Though scattered and divided we are still its heart...AIDA SEPTEMBER 5th, 2004...one more longing backward glance... I AM NOW "TGIF!"
