a couple months back, they posted a message that The Who's Tommy was going to have a revival and was going to have a You're The One That I One type of reality show to choose the leads. Are they serious? I love The Who! So, I wouldn't mind eiether way.

It was one of many april fools articles that this site made. If you scroll down to the bottom it says " happy april fools day from all of us here at broadwayworld.com."

I absolutely hate when BWW writes these stupid April Fools articles... They post them on March 31st, which is rather pointless. If they are going to write these on April Fools, at least have the decency to post them on the correct day. Even this article about Tommy says "March 31, 2007," so of course people are going to believe it.

The Tommy article is dated March 31, 2007, not 2006.

p.s. How many times a year do they post these April Fools Day articles?

pps: When Yogi Berra was asked: "When's your birthday?"
He answered: May 12th.
"No, no. I mean what year?"
Replied Yogi: Every year!

No, I wasn't "taken."

I am not mad either, I just think it's pretty lame to post several stories for April Fools and post them on March 31th. If they want to post them a day before April Fools, they could at least date the stories "April 1st."

hahaha I'll just learn to avoid this site on March 31st and April 1st from now on.

"BroadwayWorld.com wishes its readers a happy April Fools Day."

This is always written at the bottom of the article. If you don't notice it, well, then it's part of the fun.

I think the articles are hilarious.

Personally, I thought my Tommy and Dakota stories were the best yet.

The stories were written on the 31st. They were actually posted about 5-10 minutes to midnight. So it's not like they were really "before" April Fools Day.

I thought the Bill Clinton in Chicago article was the best one yet (or maybe that was broadway.com?).

This reminds me of the April Fools Day when I changed my avatar to a picture of Rob Diamond. I then proceeded to post messages all over the board about what a miserable person Dollypop was--yet my screen name was clearly on view under the avatar. Some people bought the joke hook, line and sinker.
