Was Norbert and Sherie in RENT together ?

I do believe so. Both were first replacements.

Yes. Sherie has said as much.

However, Norbert was an understudy/swing (for roles including Mark and Roger), while Sherie played Maureen. She's also said she played opposite Adam Pascal, who Norbert would eventually replace. I don't think she was there long enough to see Norbert take over as Roger. She wasn't in the show very long, as I believe she left to work on something else and she has been very vocal about how terribly she was treated when doing Rent.

Norbert went on a lot for Adam, including both times I saw the "original" cast.

When Adam resigned his contract, he took Sunday evenings off - Norbert was the scheduled Roger for Sunday evenings (can't remember if he had another scheduled day or not).
