Watermill Spend Spend Spend is awesome!

Just got back from Newbury - saw Spend Spend Spend last night and it is a fantastic production! I'd never seen the show before and only knew two songs I'd managed to listen to on Youtube - now having seen the show, I adore the score. Add to that Craig Revel Horwood's stunning direction and a knock-out ensemble cast - and you have a brilliant night of theatre. I think this will soon be totally sold out, so anyone who can get to Newbury at all during the summer, KILL for a ticket and get there.

Is this better than Sunset?

Hard to compare Sunset Blvd and Spend Spend Spend as they are two VERY different shows. But the production qualities, standard of performances, etc. is certainly on a par - both brilliant in their own particular ways.

i have so much respect for Craig Revel Horwood direction after seeing Sunset, especially with such a minimal sets, so be interested to see if he cut the mustard with Spend!

Love to see this but not a chance at the Watermill, . Any rumours of potential transfer yet?

..remember how quickly 'Sunset' suddenly 'dawned' in the West End last year!
Fingers crossed cos this is one very fabulous BRITISH musical!
