Well if this show gets people back to see more theatre, that's a good thing.

And I don't listen to "normal" music? Not even going to go there.

I didn't say that you didn't listen to normal music, I categorised you as a normal musical lover - ie a person who likes traditional musicals. If I was in accurate in that I apologise.

I like all kinds of musicals...everything from OKLAHOMA to TABOO. I have nothing against this genre if they are done well. MAMMA MIA! needs to go, but I found JERSEY BOYS thrilling.

WE WILL ROCK YOU just isn't what I think theatre is about. The plot is barely there, the space-age setting, the over-amplified music...it's all become so theme park. I don't know why I'm so bitter about this show...but I just can't help but wish for more DOLLYS and GYPSYS and BRIGADOONS...

This was far from the best show I've ever seen, but it was certainly the LOUDEST!

They're doing auditions for Toronto WWRY in January I think. Or at least I think that's what my friend told me. I hope it comes to Broadway one day.
