I know ALW in his memoir mentioned that there was a 5/4 bar (I believe he said he always has a 5/4 bar of music in every show...but it may have been 7/4 or something else). He said that really only the conductor would know where It is. I'm curious if anyone knows at what point in the show this "irregular" bar occurs.

7/8 time, part of Don Juan Triumphant (and its recurring leitmotif). "Furtively, we'll scoff and quaff," etc.

The opening of “Notes” (“Mystery after gala night…&rdquo
is in 15/16 and moves to 7/8 for “Bad news on Soprano scene”.
