Website for character descriptions

Hi guys. I'm getting ready to direct Gypsy and wondered if anyone could guide me to a website where I could find a listing of character descriptions? Any help would be appreciated..

Possibly on www.mtishows.com--or you can Google for "Gypsy" casting calls, which might have character descriptions on them.

MTI won't have it... Tams owns the rights. There's a cheap paperpack version of the script you can buy from bookstores with good theatre sections, any one of the BroadayNewYork store in NY, or from AMAZON, or any major online bookseller.

You're getting ready to direct GYPSY and you're looking for character descriptions?

I would think that if you're getting ready to direct the show, you would have read it, and had at least some basic idea of idea of who the characters were.

Well considering that I'm not having auditions till August I'm still preparing. Plus, my first choice of show we didn't get the rights so yes, I'm looking for the descriptions of the non leads. I do have a lot of knowledge of "Gyspy" as it's one of my favorite shows. However, I was looking for possible age ranges and descriptions for me to look at. So no I'm not waiting until the last minute. The show does not open until late October. I'm VERY organized. So, thanks for your help everyone that was helpful.
