Weddiing Singer before movie

So my cousin and I have been debating about whether the Wedding Singer was a show before the movie. I told her it wasnt and that the movie inspired the musical that just came out. And she said that she has heard that there was a musical called the Wedding Singer that inspired the movie. Who's right?

You're definitely right. You ought to slap her with a wedding dress, a mic stand, a ladder, an air freshener, a vibrating bed, a dumpster, or one of the other fabulous props from the musical that she was bloody wrong about. :)

adam sandler actually helped WRITE the movie,as in its his original stuff, and I'm preeetty sure he doesnt write musicals... so, yeah :) your friends wrong haha

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

The Hollywood movie preceded the Broadway musical by eight years.
