I have to agree with BobbyBubby on this one. I don't think I laughed once. Most of the humor is corny, cliche, or recycled from the the movie. Although Felicia F. has some great moments on stage. The score on the other hand is a lot of fun. WS is worth seeing for the music (despite the fact the best songs were cut in previews, there are still some really fun numbers).

sorry, LyTeMeCandle, he sang in Hebrew :)
and i am a young teen too, and you really dont need 80's knowledge to have fun! i had some, but not too much, but i still had a blast, and laughed a bunch!
this isnt a line, or anything, but i love that little move Holly does as she opens her closet and is about to sing "Saturday Night in the City"! And when the leads start doing the dance moves during the chorus, like Holly does the robot and such
:)
ha, i love this show!

Let us also not forget the references to Back to the Future and Rocky II.
I loved this show. After seeing The Color Purple and Jersey Boys, this was the perfect pick me up.
I have a good one: The producer walks in and says "The numbers are down we are closing on Sunday." LOL

I think the lyrics to "Today You Are A Man" are really clever.
There's a waitress/dressed up like a gogo
Just remember/shiksas are a no-no
COME ON. That's funny!
Oh, also! This cracked me up:
but as I learned when I applied to Devry/
you gotta have a safety schoooooool
mejusthavingfun, don't be a jerk.
but as I learned when I applied to Devry/
you gotta have a safety schoooooool
Haha, yes, that was funny. When I saw the show with Nicolette as Linda, she made a face like "YEAH! DeVry! And what?" hysterical.

If you've seen atleast 1 episode of I LOVE THE 80'S, you'll enjoy this show. Its hysterical and has some great music in it.
My favorite jokes were with what seems like an 80 pound cell phone, and is it me or could ALL ABOUT THE GREEN be what the APPERITANCE would look like as a musical?

one of my favorite lines:
"please forgive my timing- dot, dot, dot, smiley face."
its just i love the way Felicia says it so serious, and does some little thing with her hands, and its just HILARIOUS!!!

I thought the same thing about THE APPRENTICE, Clumsy. Definitely some heavy dance numbers and office suiting!
I mean, the thing istel would still just be ridiculous. It's one thing to make a musical about an office, which could very easily work, but it's another to make it in regards to a reality show?
laughed zero times. Okay. maybe once at the Carrie rip-off Act I finale
you're kidding right, you do mean the flashdance rip-off don't you? no wonder you didn't laugh. i do think you have to understand most of the references to enjoy The Wedding Singer.

I'm in my early teens and I understood almost everything... except for Imelda Marcos and the shoes thing, but after everyone explaining it to me I get it.
I hate how they cram a decade of pop-culture references into like a year. That is NOT how the 80s was.
And some might say "what's love got to do with it?" or that "love is a battle field" but those people are "looking for love in all the wrong places" because "endless love" is "the greatest love of all".
Holly: "I mean, what do I get? The last guy I dated was Sammy. All that he gave me was an 'I'm with stupid t-shirt'. It was then that I realized-- I was with stupid."

Plus, BWayFanatic, if you see the show you get the pleasure of seeing my avatar- Amy Spanger- who is fabulous in the show! But really, the whole cast is so talented and amazing.

It also helps if you've seen Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.
There was supposed to be humor in The Wedding Singer? Wow
