Ok-I like the Wedding Singer, in fact I like it a lot. The best thing about it is the score. When I saw a preview two weeks ago, there was a catchy 80's themed pop number called, "Right On Time" that Julia sings at the beginning. She even had a reprise of the song in Act 2. When I left the theater, I wasn't humming "It's Your Wedding Day" (demo version is better than the revised show version) or "Saturday Night in the City" (both of which are excellent numbers), I was humming "Right on Time". For two weeks I caught myself humming the tune "Right on Time, da da da..."and I told people the CD was worth buying just for that number alone when it's released June 6th. I got let down when I saw the show again last night (April 25th)when I discoverd "Right on Time" was replaced by some mediocre number called, "Someday". Ugh! What a shame! "Right on Time" was the cutest number in the show. Not the best number, but the cutest and very catchy. I spoke to a few other people who had seen the show a few times and they said they were dissapointed the number was changed as well. With opening night two days away, it's unlikely the number will be miraculously put back in, but I hope it will at least be a 'bonus track' on the cd. Sorry for the rant, but it's such a shame....That's show biz I guess
