Weekly Operating Costs

Does anyone know the weekly nut for any broadway shows? I heard that Spiderman's is just about a million, but I'm curious to know what some others might be. Or even some past shows, if you know them.

Particularly interested in Phantom, Wicked, and Lion King because they're pretty lavish productions.

I dont know about the rest, but in Spidey's case, the high nut can be summed up in one little word:

Insurance.

I would love to have been the guy that sold the producers that policy. Every night you're covering for possible disaster -- that policy, even for a few weeks' run, will be sending a lot of kids to college.

Most of the time they dont say, though people on here pull numbers out of thin air and pretend they were told.
